first try at home grow - indoor sour diesel

so a friend gave me a sour diesel clone and i'm gonna try and grow it.
i've noticed little flying bugs that look kinda like fruit flies and was wondering if that's gonna be a problem? any help would be appreciated..

I find the little fuckers now and again and they reproduce quicker than the Irish.

I use this and it blast al the little critters that pay my tent a visit.

it seems you have some sort of def.could just be the clone but id feed it something.

the mothers been fed bloom formula.. i was thinking nitrogen is what it needs though.. any opinion?

Definitely looks like it needs some nitrogen ..
To help with the fungus gnats (fruit flies) put a layer of sand over your soil, about a half inch. Also make sure there is no standing water or open reservoirs. Neither of these will actually kill them but it prevents breeding and they have a super short life span.

can i just leave it to dry for a few days? the soil was really wet when i got it, i was thinking about letting it dry for like 36 hours and then going slow on the water. just my thoughts though, since she's small i wanna promote root growth

looks like it could use some Liquid Karma to green it back up.

thanks for the tips. i'm kinda new to this and was thinking that i should leave it at 18/6 for a light cycle till it's atleast 16-18" and then start making cuttings for clones. i really want this to be a mother plant as it is from a really good mother itself. is this strategy adviseable?

btw i don't smoke (probation) so i'm plenty patient. here is an updated pic.

i just love my lil girl i could care less what the output is. i wanna see her grow to be a mature adult ;D

yah i know but this is a mother so i want her to blow up and then i take her children like a pirate ;p she would DEFINATELY make a legendary toker plant but unfortunately she's mom. ;p thanks for the reply though

well after a few days i've noticed stem growth of about 1/2 inchbut that's about it.. any tips/advice on making more branches grow sooner..?

btw. the bugs seem to have died on their own without anything from me
