Hey ,so this is my first time growing from seeds. I have 2 plants running under a 1000w LED light 30" away from the Canopy along with the FoxFarm lineup, 18/6. Plants are looking Marvelous , Mild green and strong. It would B 2months at the end of JAN. 2020 n was thinking about switching it 2 flower the beginning of FEB. 2020 But its Only 10" - 11" Tall but very bushy. Im not sure if im at a deadline for Veg and should switch or let it grow a little into FEB. n start Flowering in the Middle of FEB. BC of the height of the Plants. Any Tips would Help me Alot with a Stand still I believe im at ‍♂‍♂

Personal preference u can veg for longer if you'd like. Me personally I switch after 2 months because of size of grow area and lights. Also because I just grow for me.

You can veg for as long as u want really. Plants look good so far. Any preflowers? Some will show preflowers when they are mature enough to start flowering

That blurple is not drawing 1000 watts from the wall, its just marketing hype that it is 1000 watts. Usually after u flip to 12/12 cycle the plants DOUBLE in size, roughly. Some strains don't even double up. IF u do flip on Feb 1st you wont end up with much dry bud.

Is the preflowers the Extra little hairs inbetween by where it shows male or female

so would it be a good Idea 2 flip on FEB 1st so the buds would be less dry , with a plant this size would it produce a good amount of buds/Yield?

Could the plant be encouraged to spread out by moving the light farther?

Its 30" from the plant Canopy , as I was told that would do some stretching. Not sure if i should move it further Bc of the Light spectrum of my LED.
n rn i got the branches tied down so the light can penetrate the middle where the leaves not gettin enough light!

That is my question although plants look good and the light could probably grow much taller tree/canopies right.
Strictly talking about light and tying branches, can someone experienced give advice on manipulating bushing out the small autoflowers?

Then in that case , Yes. The further the light is away from the Canopy the more stretching it will do as in your plant is now searching for light/Energy.

so Would it be good 2 Flower Later then FEB 1st?

I'm a new grower and hope my plants will be like yours in a month. Apparently when you switch to flower they should about double in size but don't you think they are too bushed up together and could use spacing before switching to flower and bulking up?

Top it or FIMM it (this is similar to topping FUCK IT I MISSED, u grab most of that upper inner growth and yank it off but not all of it). This will make 4 colas out of 1.

Slightly shocks the plant, same as topping it. Give it 24-36 hours it will come back lookin great.

I have a Nice size closet . I want them to be EDLEAST 15" - 20" Taller and only growing for myself. with the size they are NOW , I wont get much Yield from them huh?

If you have the room and height I would let them get a little bigger. You need to account for some stretching and still have space between your plants and light. Look great though.
