Fist Grow EVER! Bag See... Looks Indica..

hey all... lets get down to the nitty gritty.. im Joe.

SETUP

Seed/Strain;
bag seed out of dank bud..go lucky its a female..supposedly it was sour jack..but it look indica..

Soil: started in MG potting soil (20-20-20) NEVER USE IT! re-potted in fox farm OF..thriving now!

Nutes: fox farm "6 pack" (grow big, big bloom, tiger bloom, open sesemi, beastie bloomz, cha ching) also i made an organic tea out of gull guano, molasses, seaweed, and 2 drops of hydrogen peroxide per gallon of tea. i nute every other watering mixed with the tea (the tea feeds the micro orginasms in the soil, nutes are NPK for the the plant) feed the soil and ur plant will be happy and i use the tea with EVERY watering.. the plant is responding well.. im gonna try to start nute with EVERY watering see what happens...

Setup: on my floor in my room... i know its not the most ideal grow room..BUT plans to come.. 2 55 watt CFL 27k. 4 26 watt 65k 27k mix for kinda a full spectrum deal.. it seems to be working well for a compact 4 cola 6 nodes long, it looks pretty healthy.. here are some pics i snapped today with my iphone so sorry for the shitty quality... when i get more time.. i will post week by week progress.. but im "lazy" now

Future plans (for this week.. :=) 2 x 3 x4 foot box with 2, 2 lamp 4' t8 ballasts overdriven x2 (60 watts per bulb) 2 65k t8, 2 27k t8 mixd in fixtures.. i also have a 250 watt hps setup i made.. but i wanna make sure all teh wires are correct... if anyone could help me by taking a look at the shitty pics of the connections i made :/ i'd rather hea im an asshole on here than have a bulb explode

yea... i smoke.. but i mean they need it more than i do.. i cant have a dong (hahaa dong) i meant dog, in my apartment, but i enjoy nurturing and i fugured a plant would be the next best thing..

i just may be a hermie.. it was at my girls house, and shes a retard so she prolly fucked with the photo period... but if u can, can you please show me what you were talking about? cuz i think its the pic where im holding the cola between my fingers.. that cola doesnt get enough light (cuz i have a shitty grow area for now) but i know i have a fully female cola floating around somewhere (i prolly just made myself sound like an idiot, "one guaranteed female cola" what a dumbass"

thanks again for the kind words, it makes me feel good when my girl get complements! my hps has been very good to me, i would say if u go with a 250 watt then either top or lst your plant or maybe both. the 250 will only get u 15-18 inches of light penetration so u gotta keep your plant low. it might get a little hot with the 250 so make sure u keep it cool in there. if u dont have one already then get urself a ph meter and a ppm meter, not so much the ppm meter but deff a ph meter. the ph of your water is the most important thing for ur plant. do u use tap water or distilled or RO? nirvana is reliable, i ordered from there twice already and im from MA so dont worry its good service

thanks for the HPS info.. currently i use poland spring gallons that i mix my tea and fert into.. i have 1 gallon devoted strictly to my tea, and the other gallon is my fox farm nute mixture.. after i mixx all that is needed, i pour a half/gal of tea and a half/gal of nute mix into yet a 3rd (empty)gallon jug anf feed that way.. just a little FYI i am very anal, and i like things on a regimented schedule.. hopefully when my box is all done i will have some nasty flowering plant..

so lets say my box; im gonna build a 2' D x 3' L x 4' H, how high should i have the light?would that be enough room for light penetration and also my plant it topped and LSTd a little bit... i topped once, and LSTd the colas and "spindely branches.. ill take a pic and show you peepz the undergrowth.. its ugly cuz i pruned all the fan leaves off.. but that was my no0b mistake.. more pics to come..! PH is VERY low.. what can u use to bring it back to at least 6.5? please any suggestions!

i dont know if that rapi test aint worth the shit.. but it says my Tap water is 7 stiltedly (with 2 days of distilling for chlorine evap..).. if im not mistaken, i took the PH of all the BARE fox farm LIQUID ferts and this is the PH i got from each straight out of the bottle: Grow Big has a PH of 3.3 - 3.5, Big Bloom is at a neutral PH of around 6.3 - 6.6, the tiger bloom hold strong with a PH of 4.1.. i am following this fox farm feeding schedule from 420 maga http://www.420magazine.com/forums/frequently-asked-questions/119784-fox-farm-feeding-schedule.html.. am i doing something wrong for my PH to be so low... STONERSTEVE u mentioned a PPM meter.. i have heard a lot about those BUT WHAT IS IT USED FOR! please help me out.. i want this plant to thrive without getting all this other bullshit like super thrive and liquid karma.. cuz they are pretty much my organic tea.. the reason i use peroxide is to help the roots.. but i think i may be getting some nute lockout if the PH stays too low.. ANY IDEAS FOLKS?!

i asked a SOG and SCROG question.. i know SCROG is screen of green.. but can someone explain to me what SOG is.. and would i be able to SCROG my plant now... its kinda like LST without all the work? also Im gonna order some beans from nirvana.. what is that "package deal" they have.. i was also gonna buy a dank sativa and a dank incica and since i know a bit about botany i am gonna start my own strain.. ANY WORD ON THE AUTO FLOWER STRAINS? i would like to grow them for my personal use since the veg/flower time is like a ridiculous 7-11 weeks.. seems too good to be true.. can someone please look at the wiring i have (on the first page second post) to see if i wired up my HPS ballast correctly... i would rather be called an idiot and keep my pretty face than say fuck it plug it in and the bulb explode in my face... its a universal s50 quad tap HPS 250 ballast kit.. if you cant understand the wires by the pics i will be more than happy to explain to you. I live in the US, so i know i am gonna use the 120 volt..only thing is i need to know if i wired the lamp socket correctly to the starter and the 14 AWG power cord! Love and peace Joey Bozz

P.S. stonersteve; (big reps to the North East BTW lol) is Nirvana where you got those black jack seeds? i was gonna buy "the DR pack" for my (12) cancer patients.. but i saw they had black jack seeds and i love the way ur bud looks.. i ultimately want 4-5 different strains in my grow box (the patients grow box) than have a 2x2x2 grow box for my personal stash of autoflowering "northern lights" but i just dont trust anything that says "auto" my car is a 5 speed, i control the lights in my box (no timer) i have big trust issues when it comes down to the word AUTO, cuz i've realized in the 24 years of living you have to put work in to things that are "automatic" eff that shit.. any info would help immensely

well with my plant i use fox farm nutes and thats it. right now im only using the tiger bloom, i put 3tbs in one gallon and that makes my PPM 850. (dont worry ill get to ppm) i feed everyother watering. thats all u really need. the tea, and everything else might be good for ur plant or it might be overkill. im not saying ur doing anything wrong or anything. im just saying i think the tiger bloom is more then enough thats all. now with the light, u can keep it 6 inches close if u can keep the bulb cool. i use an air conditioner to cool mine, i leave it on almost 24-7. that will end up being a problem on your plant if u dont fix the ph. look on google for ways to slowly raise ur ph. im having ph issues now and i changed the ph only 1/2 of 1 ph! so instead 6.5 ph water i gave her 7 ph (said ph wat tooo many times lol) water and now im seeing brown dots on some of her leaves (im really bummed about it and ill show pics of her this sunday) so always use the same ph water. and now the ppm meter it important because that tells u how strong ur water is. for example, the ppm (points per million)of ur spring water is prob 30-40. this is what ur girl is getting until she gets nutes. when u give nutes to ur plant the the ppm of the water changes, so now instead of 30-40 ppm the ppm is lets say....450, 450 would be a good ppm for ur plant right now. where 850 is good for my plant because its a more mature plant. the highest ppm u want for ur girl(s) (towards the end of flowering of course) is about 1000-1100 ppm. but ive heard of some people going up to 1300ppm.

can help u out with the wiring man sorry. but SOG means sea of green and all that is a bunch of small plants that u veg for 2 weeks (if that) and put them right into flowering

u could prob scrog ur plant but it would only be helpful if ur gonna veg it for longer so u can grow the branches more. i would just keep tying it down and get all the branches the same size

i do...i paid 180 sumthing 4 mine so that not bad, the mh is great 4 veg and 400w is all i need 4 now so this kit is perfect 4 me, u plan on getting 1?
