God damn you just stumped me.
Here is what I found on Google, now this is interesting. 
Before sunset, a sleepy fly will try and find a safe place to rest. ... Flies need good grip because they often sleep upside down. If they sleep on the ground, they could get eaten by a hungry bird, marsupial, or frog. Like us, flies will often nap in the shade of a tree to escape the afternoon heat.

Its interesting they didn't think a spider was the main predator of a fly when its on the ground.
Its also interesting they think people nap under trees. I have never napped in the shade of a tree unless it was one outside my bedroom window. For fuck sake man, society didn't advance this far just to sleep on the ground.
Its just like camping. If I wanted to practice being homeless, I would quit paying rent.

No, I actually keep my house pretty clean.
But I am trying to breed a couple mice so I have a supply to feed my snake.
And flies seem to be attracted to the cage.
There is just this one fly in my room that has been bothering me all day.
And I haven't been able to kill it.

I don't know how many times I've yelled at them.
Things like Fuck off, Leave me alone, Son of a bitch Don't land on me.
God damn it go away. They just come right back, this one fat ass fly in particular.
He buzzed me all fucking day yesterday.

Not a joke .......
Flies HATE mint.
One could buy a mint plant in pot ( Home Depot ) and either put in affected room or even grow space.
And a mint for your breath ...... in case it smells like train smoke ..
( sorry I couldn’t help myself ... lol )
