Flood to drain table set up, please advise

Howdy - so I decided to go with a flood to drain system for the first time.

3x3 flood table in a 4x4 grow tent
55 gallon reservoir
I am using the flora series nutrients with the following feeding schedule

I'm putting in 48 clones that rooted about 5 days ago. And I want to flip them immediately after a 3 day veg just so they get anchored in.

So, the question is how I should introduce nutrients. What stage should I treat them at? Veg for 1st 3 days then transition? Or should I go straight to transition from the start and flip them after the 3 day 18/6 cycle.

Lastly, I am using expanded clay pellets as my medium. How many times should I flood my table and for how long initially. I am aware that people advise against flooding during the dark cycle but I worry the roots will dry out when using clay pellets.

I use this same chart and nutes. Always mix cal mag first. Dissolve. Then micro. Dissolve. Then gro. Dissolve. Then bloom and h2o2 29% dissolve. You can mix all into a 5 gal and mix that with the rest of your water. Go straight to early bloom schedule. I only flood once a day for 15 mins at first but twice is fine. Once they get big and your at mid bloom nutes, try 3 times a day for 15 mins

So, I'm not seeing as much explosive growth with the flood table. I am on day 5 of veg (from a rooted clone). I've grown in soil, DWC, and coco and so far my flood table isn't comparing with those methods in terms of quick growth during veg. Is this typical?

I grew for years doing flood and drain, 4 x 8 tables, 3 inch rockwool cubes, 48 to a bed, 55 gal resv. I was always told the more times you flood, the more oxygen you get into the cubes as the water drains out, so, at peak, I was flooding 6 times/ day, including one during the night. I was always told that you wanted to flood as quick as possible, to prevent cubes from sitting in water too long,( less oxygen) so my flood times were 5 mins long, any longer and water was running into overflow back to resv. ( overflow set to allow approx. 1/3 of cube submersed). I'm assuming this would all apply to clay pellets. Ran veg nutes for first 2 weeks, then changed to flower.
