Below is a link to a page with a pdf of a nutrient schedule please open it or I have uploaded it as an attachment to this as well.

My question is,

I am growing hempy bucket style, I plan to germinate my seeds in wet paper towels for 48-72 hours for germination, then transfer the seedling to a mini-hempy bucket (16oz solo cup), at this stage the seedling will still be small, but on this pdf schedule it says Week 1 of nutrients is when the plant is in seedling stage so I am confused. Should I give just plain water to seedling in mini-hempy for one week to let seedling get alittle bigger or start giving it nutes right after germination?

Concise question:
How long after germination do I need to wait before giving my plant the "week 1" nutes this schedule describes?

It depends on the plant, really, but I usually wait until the first set or two of true leaves (the serrated ones) are open before feeding anything. However, hempy, from what I understand, is basically just perlite and vermiculite, so it might be worth starting a bit sooner (as in, once the first set of true leaves are open) with a half dose or so. Of course, I have no real experience with either those nutes or the hempy system, so I may be completely off base, but hope it helps fwiw!

Cheers!

I used GH Flora 3-part with the so-called "useless schedule." (<<link). It worked very well for me. It takes the strength right up to the threshold of nute burn. It's a little tedious managing all those ratios. But, it worked really well. I got 6.5 oz off an autoflower.

In soilless I began week-one 5-7 days after it broke ground (about when I see the formation of 2nd set of serrated fan leaves). Soilless has enough nutes to support the first week. I don't know about hempy. If you're worried about it, you could cut week-one down to "1-1-1" to get minimal nutrients to the plant, maybe a little sooner.

Typically in SOIL-LESS medium like coco, vermiculite, or hydro I start to feed at about 150ppm when they're this big. In SOIL the plant should be alright for about 3-4 weeks before nutrients are needed....(some strains can take some serious feeding early on though and can be up to half strength nutrients by 1 month old!)
bottom line I guess is: Trial and Error!
Good Luck!
