Flow Masters !

I'm doing a personal indoor grow and have done plenty of research but I think to much into stuff and I feel like that is the problem so I need some help .

I'm looking to grow just few plants for personal use 1-2 first time grow.

money is Not really an issue but I'm looking for a fun easy grow nothing serious" keep it simple method ."

Any ways i have figured out I'm buying a tent and everything and all the lights and nutrients .

BUT I CANT decide on the lighting for 2-3 plants .

CFL/t5

Or use a 250w hps

My ceilings are tall so height is not a problem .

The deal breaker for me I would RATHER not have to use ducting or anything to cool it . How many fans do you need for a small grow and with these types of light ? I know most people have a fan to bring in the air and one to exit the air .
Do you need these types of fan for low powers lights like these? And do I need ducting connected to the windows so it brings "fresh air" or will my house air be ok? The grow tent will be in a room 10 x 10 kept at 70.

How much will a couple plants smell with no carbon filter ? Like will it just smell the room or will it smell a whole small 2 bedroom house or will it smell a whole apartment floor? I'm trying to keep the smell with in the room .

Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks !!
I have posted this but I fee like it belongs in this category sorry for inconvenience

I'm just mostly confused on how the airflow works and what I need .

Do I need all the fans or do I simple just need one box fan inside the small grow that I have . And what about the "fresh air " that I keep reading about . Is that why people use a ducting system in their window ?

Plants need an exchange of air so they can replenish the CO2 around them. If you don't bring in fresh or new air, you need to dump CO2 into the grow space manually. The fans inside keep the grow space keep the air circulating around the leaves....this prevents mold issues, moves the CO2 over the leaf surfaces, promotes your plants to grow stronger stem structures, prevents heat build ups, etc.....all sorts of good stuff comes from air flow.

I wouldn't even bother with a 250W HPS....I didn't even know they went that low? But HPS will produce much more heat than a CFL or T5, but your also getting a much better spectrum of light and a deeper light penetration....If you can find it in the budget, i'd personally invest in a 315W CMH light.

Cannabis has one hell of a beautifully erotic smell....lol, your gonna need a way to scrub your air somehow, if your doing a really small grow, some ONA air fresheners would work, or when my landlord comes over, I have an essential oil diffuser that pumps out lavender and orange smells. or you could DIY making a carbon filter out of a pet furnace filter.

Tons of ways to grow on a budget and I've done my own DIY projects simply by walking around Lowes or Home Depot and piecing the project together as I go based on what I see lol. its always funny seeing the an associates expression when I describe my projects

Thank you so much sir for the help !

So basically I should use CFL for a small 1-3plant grow in a tent . But how can I set up venahilation I know you explained it but how much do i need with cfl lights for 1-3 plants since cfl don't get hot the only reason I need a fan is for CO2 and bug prevention right ? So can I just keep a fan inside for circulation and have one hole of the tent open for circulation or do I need a exit fan also ?
