Hi all !

Planning my first grow with 4x4 tent , 1000watts cheap led lights , homemade DWC system.
Starting 8 plants and hope to flower 4. I will setup a scroging net and give a try to that technique ,but I don't know how can taller a cannabis plant stretch when put to flower ? Double its hight ?
If I can I will grow White Widow
Thank you !

Boris

Depends on alot of factors, genetics, nutrients, light spectrum used. It's impossible to say with the given info.

What Seed Bank? I'm running one Dutch Passion WW and it's been LSTed (top-over) for about a week, about day 45 from germ...Mine are under 2 4ft. t5s running approx. 4-6inches from level muti-top canopy (level as I can, anyway) and she is very bushy...and in all honesty I don't know what kind of stretch to expect, but you can see the latest on page 4 in my current grow (in Siganature) to kinda gauge it...

Sorry couldn't help more, but this is my first grow that will amount to any heft...and the first indoor grow ever for me.

On average ,can they double ? It's just to give me an idea as to when to switch to 12/12 and have the plant cover all the screen . If they stretch by a third ,I will veg longer than if they double ... Nut is General Hydroponics Floramicro ,florabloom ,floragrow . I ordered some Calmag ,silica ,hydroguard and the strain is White Widow .

Upgrading your lights will probably be the best thing you can do if you want good plants. I seriously suggest ViparSpectra. 300w for $99 or 450w for 149. Both run half their listed wattage but delivery their listed power and are full spectrum and high PAR for the wattage.

If you have enough light to keep them from getting all stretchy during vegetative then it pretty much comes down to genetics.

Search the forums for others that have grown White Widow, should be able to get an idea how much they grow after the flip.

I've grown a bit of ww and it doesn't really stretch too much at all. Probably like 1.5 times
Sounds about right for my white widows, between 1.5x - 2x the height after flipping. You can pretty much control the height with training and topping anyway, my white widows take to LST really well so I'm sure they'll scrog well too. Got some ww on the go now, link is in my sig if you're interested. Good luck :peace:

Most of the ww I've grown were not that stretchy. Some are. Like seedsman, it is sativa dominant.

As diabolical said it won't be an issue because of scrog.
