Flower & Veg Room

I recently began leasing an indoor facility for my Mmj grow. It already has 1 room built out which will be flower room 1. I'm thinking I will have a separate room for Mothers/Clones, but should I just make one more room for only veg and have only 1 flower room? Or should I make this another flower room and use both of the flower rooms for veg and bloom and have a huge harvest and just deal with not having plants already vegged/ready to go. Both flower rooms will be 4k and probably just use a few 8 bulb t5s for mother/clone room. I'm thinking with a plant count of 60 I can get away with having 24 in the first 4k, then 24 in the other 4k. Then the other 12 will be mother plants..

ahhh the good ole numbers game.

Personally, I think your just gonna have to figure out what works for you. Depends on timing, how long you want to veg plants for, and if clones or cuttings count towards your plant count in your municipality.

That's true and yes clones count as a plant. So that's why I'm most likely going to have to get dialed in properly and just veg in the flower rooms. Now I'm even thinking of building a 6k instead of 2 4ks. Decisions decisions smh.

6k and a veg room would be the way to go if your watching your numbers. If you don't plan to cut the clones before you cut down the rooms your going to have a long down time .

2 4k rooms on a 4 week rotation. 12plants in each. Veg room with 4 600s. 12 plants in veg room, 4 weeks veg. So that's 36 plants at all times. Get your cloning so that they do not root until your have harvested other room to keep under your limits. Rdwc is the system I would use to have aggressive growth rates. Pull 8lbs every 4 weeks.

isn't that 4lbs every 4 weeks? If only 12 are ready after 4 weeks in veg? Not familiar with rdwc just 10gal pots pure coco

That's true, I don't want to go weeks and weeks without meds. But then again I could always vacume seal the extra and save it especially if I'm pulling 8-9 lbs..

You should easily be able to pull 2 lbs per 1000 watt. If not, time to reevaluate.

Picking the right strain will be everything. In a good system, 4 week veg can get a plant pretty damn big. Especially rdwc. Then just pick a strain with a larger stretch to make up the difference.

Getting 2 per is never easy unless your growing something that no one wants. Getting 2+ with ogs is an art . The op thinks he already know what's up. Most grows that I see fail, fail because of veg. If your veg isn't in order, meaning your getting consistent harvests without lots of downtime.. You will sink.

Coming and harvests aren't often enough .

I pull over 2.5 with HSO blue dream and green crack. Both are fire. Jus gotta pheno hunt for the large yield, with good quality.

I also have a blue dream that is very nice and gets anywhere from 2-3 per light. But between October and March in the area, there is no demand for it . Because you can get quality greenhouse for half the price
