flowering after 8 months... hmm

So I have a really admirable, earnest female grown from bagseed. She's about 8 months old. Came along in the first round of growing I did in a long time. She and her siblings grew under cfl's, then were transferred to underneath a skylight. All were grown in soil.

At about 2 months, I topped the plant. I didn't realize this was a mistake, so late in the game. Well, I rooted the top and watched the main plant develop two main stalks while the others in the same generation began flowering and moved ahead. The plant in question essentially reverted to vegetative stage. I'll venture a guess that this is due to a hormonal response to the topping. (Incidentally, the top was rooted, planted in soil and though she never really took off, is now flowering as well.)

I moved a new batch of plants, including this gal--let's call her Mary Warner, shall we?--into my secret outdoor jungle spot. This is due to a change in house rules about growing grass: e.g. I am no longer allowed. She had just begun flowering. I placed her so that she gets about 4 hours of direct summer sun a day, then gets shaded--because, gerontologically speaking, she needs to be in an environment that induces flowering. She won't be vegetating any more. Chemically, hormonally, she's getting close to a year old and needs to be flowering before she loses her juice. I have given her small amounts of higher P & K nutrient. The flowering proceeds more or less apace, I suppose, but I see certain signs, such as the upper sun leaves angling upward, lower leaves dropping. And the buds are not really adding up.

So I wonder if I should go ahead and harvest before the potency drops and perhaps make hash or butter out of it. Or should I keep her going just for science's sake? Maybe I'll wind up with some crazy shit. What do yall think? Mary's healthy-looking, but the buds aren't really adding up, the trichomes and stickiness are not increasing and she's maybe gonna start to poop. Any similar experiences out there? Any advice?

Thanks

She has had lots of shock to deal with because of the moves, the difference with amount of light and the time of light. She will adjust to her new home and be back good and strong in a few days. I personally would let her finish off naturally with the current light conditions, she will want to flower now naturally. Godd Luck and post some pics of the girl. Sorry about your new house rules that sucks.:joint::mrgreen:

I am VERRRRY interested in seeing pics of this beast!
I have never dealt with a plant this old but I would let it flower naturally.
After it adjusts it should be fine and get back on track.
Seriously if you can get pics please post them!
