when you got nothin you got nothin to lose.... I came back from vacation in the Bahama's expecting to be ready to start harvesting plants and there were these webs all over the plants, temp of 100degrees. Wow,btdt. It doesn't matter spray them now!! Buy ready made with neem oil, the common active ingredient in most insecticides that say they will work on mites, around $8.00. If you are in it for the long haul invest in Neem oil, and buy a bottle of liquid dish soap. Mix your own insecticide, be sure to lable the spray bottle you put it in, mix one tblsp(15ml), one tblsp(15ml) liquid dish soap and one gallon of water(3.8ltrs). Shake the bottle every a few times while your spraying. Try to spray the bottom of the leaves too, good thing you moved the light up out of the way. In a few hours you will see nice shiny leaves. Now, check your trich color. If its ready to harvest wait three days and rinse the neem off by regularly misting your plants. If its not ready to harvest, wait three days and reapply the neem. While your waiting you will want to check your temps and your ventilation. Lack of Air movement around the plants and high temps lead to spider mites. VV
