Pantera: the Kelvin rating of your lamp or lamps is important but I think it may be secondary to the photo period. Aerogardens might be a good example of this. We change our lamps from a 5,000 to 6,500K's from sprouting through vegging to 2,700 or 2,800K's for flowering but Aerogardens don't. All they do drop the time the lights are on from 16 hours to 12 and that seems to get things going. That's not the only variable though. Most of us change the light's K value, the photo period; the time that they're on, and the plant's diet to one lower in N and richer in K and P. I grew with Aerogardens for about five years and you could get them to flower without changing the lamps but it was a bitch. You might want to look at sources like Cervantes, Rosenthal or Green as they all spend a lot of time on lighting.
