Flowering interrupted late by light exposure. Now what?

Hi all. I have a large NL (6 foot) that was developing some very nice colas (topped and fim'ed perfectly). She was about 6-7 weeks into flowering. She's in a closet and was accidentally exposed to ambient light for a prolonged period during lights out phase. First I noticed that the top buds had stopped filling in. Then, within 3-4 days new shoots started popping out of the top buds like crazy with large new leaves. These shoots are 4-8" long now with some early pistils on them. She is now up agaist and around my cool hood light. With the light up as high as possible the bottom 30% of my girl is yellowing and wilting.

I was thinking about cutting the long shoots off of what was the colas in the hopes that maybe the former colas would further develop and I could lower my light again.
I don't know what to do. Is all lost here? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Solved: I'm not entirely sure wether she was light poisoned or previously stunted and recovered. Either way I decided on low stress training instead of topping the colas. I tied the new sprouts into a downward position down to the original top buds. Sine then the buds have began filling out nicely, and my lady hasn't skipped a beat.
