Ok, I'm an extreme newbie, this is my first time growing and i'm doing it in my closet. I'm running a 150w HPS and a 125w CFL to compensate for the blue spectrum the HPS lacks. Through research, i found that HPS aren't the greatest for vegging my babies, but is excellent for producing ripe buds. So my question: should i kill the CFL when i convert my lights to 12/12? i figure the CFL can't hurt, but i was thinking maybe better flowers will come about if i use pure HPS light. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.I'm extremely excited to have sweet mary jane living with me now!
