Flowering Plants not happy - Too Wet?

Hey guys,

My girls have been flowering for a few weeks now - slow going, but they smell great and look pretty good. They were happy for about a week, then they got sad again after I fed them.

But the leaves are wilting like crazy - I fed them last week, and have watered them once since then about 2 days ago. I'm using 5g soil bags with about 50% soil (mostly peat and soil) and 50% perlite.

What should I do? I'm dependent on these plants for income, so I'm freaking out here. Once I get them moving smoothly, I'm going to move more plants in there to flower, so these can be experimental, but I'm running out of cash fast!

Looks like you need to stop feeding them, they are over watered and over fed. Let them dry out a little and when you do water again try plain water or 1/4 strength.

Also why are they so crowded and hitting the top of the cab/tent? They need more space as well, don't move anymore in there. That's crazy talk

What kind of lights are you using? Is it side lighting only?

My closet is still partially under construction while I move things around. Hoping to move the top shelf in a couple days. Is the crowding bad for them? I won't be moving anything in there until the expansion is complete.

I'm using two 2100k 125W CFL's. They're on the side now, but I'm hoping to have them more above and to the side than the straight side they are now. Again, space issues.

I'll hold off on the feeding and watering until they dry out, although I'm having a hell of a time telling if they're dry or not with the new soil I'm using. I'm guessing they'll need 5 days to dry out... that's very different from what I was using before.

The best way to tell is by lifting the pots and feeling how heavy they are, don't water till they fell light when you pic them up. Keep an eye on them though, you don't want them to get too dry either.

I was battling the same problem , I see your top leaves looked just like mine dark green and extreme downward taco claw like. And like Gary G said overwatered but in my case , that wasn't the case. My soils temps got cold 54f to be exact , my fix was I added a cfl and small fan that blows on it at the bottom. Main lighting is 400w hps tubed.

Oh wow! Good idea, but my apartment stays pretty warm, although they might get down to 20C or so at the coldest. Think that's too cold?

Same 68f is what I keep ambient temps to , but I had a 10 degree difference from Canopy temps and base (bottom of pot) temps which when lights went off got even colder , may not be your problem may just be overwatered and took in to much N.
