flowering question

hey so i got 2 4 to 5 feet plants growing ones about 5 the other is 4 and the 4ft has the cfl basically on top of it adjusted on an angle so it hits the taller 5ft plant, my question is can i put a hps light on top of the 5ft plant while leaveing the cfl on the smaller one, where there be any negative effects any help wold be great. thanks all

Yes you can, but you'll get a higher yield from the one with hps on it. Especially if the cfl is blue spectrum.

Why not put them both under the HPS? I've never seen an HPS lamp that could only accommodate one single plant. I say put them both under the HPS and let them both reap the benefits of the better light.
