okay, so i was just growing some bagseed for practice in my new room. first room. first grow.

anyway, i have been flowering for about 6 wweeks now. i didnt mark it down because i ordered a microscope to determine harvest. and also i have no clue what kind of dope this was to begin with. 30 dollars an 1/8.

so now im wondering how to determine when to flush. i could easily detemine harvest and just cut it down but then it will be filled with chemical.

so how do i know when to flush? do the leaves always turn yellow near the end of the cycle?

there are pics in my journal linked in my signature

Look at your trichromes. When about half of them are an amber brown or orange you should start to flush. Flush for a week in hydro. Flush for about 2weeks in dirt & make sure the dirt is dry before you harvest so your buds dnt take too long to dry.
The yellowing is natural. It's your plants metabolism redirecting all the sugars it's making to bud production.

cool. i want to have about 75% before i harvest right? do you think i should cut the flooding out like 2 days before i harvest. i am using rockwool cubes. then they would be all dry.

Yeah let the cubes go cy. You want to keep the plant dry so it doesn't take long to dry. & you don't risk molding as much either. So however long it takes for your cubes to go dry.

But your main concern should be the flush. Do it for a cool week before you harvest.

Yeah, you gotta flush out the genital herpes too.

Usually takes a bit longer than 2 weeks though :)
