flowering question

hey, i have a plant thats almost 2 weeks into flowering, im just wondering how to tell once its ready to be havested, i know i got some time yet, can anyone help me out?

You need a jewelers loupe you can get one for about 10 bucks at Radio Shack or that much delivered from online. The one I use is a 10 x on one side and the other side is a 30 x. When the buds are nearly finished the hairs will turn brown, nearly no white hairs will be remaining when you enter "the window". The window is referred to as the time in which all of your trichromes are milky, with no clear trichs until just before you begin to get degradation, which is black trichs. It seems most people like 60 % milky 40% amber, I encourage you to take a sample as soon as it is milky, then as soon as it is 20% amber, then the rest at 40% amber. Next time you grow a plant, you will have a preference.

P.S. You don't look at the trichs straight on side ways, start there and then move up at an angle and all of a sudden it will be clear as day to you. At the right angle, you will not have to guess if they are clear or milky
