So Im using some advanced nutrients and I see that they only tell me to feed up till week 6, I am only on week 2 of flower but wondering what I do with the other 2-4 weeks after week 6. I mean sure I could just keep running the same mix as week 6 up until a week before harvest. Then one week of flush. But I know there are special tricks out there people use in the final couple weeks before harvest.
I found this :These cannabis seeds grow as high as 35-80 cm with the yield up to 450 gr per m2. It's suggested to flower (12 hour light) this marijuana variety for 8 weeks, but 10 weeks will really give you the crystals you are after. Try to turn the lights off altogether the final 2 weeks of the flowering cycle- or at least down to 8 hours. This keeps the flowers from re-growth and stresses the plant into giving up its last drop of goodness as crystal to protect the flower!
This is talking about a seedpack from greenhouse seeds with white widow and white rhino in it. But the concept is the same as ive herd the past that some people do as a little extra trick. Ive also herd of people doing 48 hours of darkness just before starting flower. Ive herd of flushing second last week then using refined sugar the last week... blah blah blah... whats your tricks/opinions/etc guys?
