flowering questions

hi guys during flowering is it more important that the budsites see the light or that leafs see the light?

There are mixed feelings about this. I do not like chopping off fan leaves I usually just bend them down underneath the colas below. I think you would be much better off by training and trimming up the lower growth early then cutting fan leaves later.

i like to focus the light on the budsites..
