Flowering stage process

I have 60 plants going into week 4. I am ready to flip nutrients and lighting schedule to the flowering stage on Friday. I would like some advice various methods in terms of the change over. For instance, I am told that it is a good idea to shock the plants with a 24 hour total darkness period just prior to the nutrient and lighting change. What are your thoughts on this?????

I don't think a 24 hour period of darkness would matter as the plant would just look at this as a super gloomy day... but we need more info on the nute situation. Are you growing in soil, hydro, aero? When I put my plants into flowering I just go straight from 18/6 to 12/12 and they usually start popping up within the week.

Any chance of some pics lol i wouldnt mind seeing 60 plants

LeoB you must be looking for a new twist, because if you have 60 plants this growing things is not new for you! Yeah, I have also read the same thing about the hours of darkness when transitioning from vegging (18/6) to flowering (12/12) light/dark hours. I'd also like to know what others have to say because I have in my schedule to do the 48 hours of darkness, unless I am convinced otherwise. My understanding is that sex of the plants will show earlier by doing this.

on the day of goin into flower i shut lights off for 24 hrs let room drop to 55 to 60 degrees and lower my humidity to 40 or lower for first week then maintain min 60 degrees lights off

IMO i would flush week before you go into flowering just ph'd water as you will be addin significant more nutes trust me do it
first watering in flower add your normal veg nutes half dosage an flowering nutes same thing

week 2 flower add just flowering nutes 3rd day after for week 2 and week 3 your goin to need to foilage spray Zinc and iron

week 3 carbo boost added into your nute program

and so on till week 7 or 8 as monitoring your buds for clouding and redness mean time as your plant nears death pull off all the leafs that look like chit still keeping good ones on plants need them
last but not least and most important is final flush
i have great sucess with flushing with honey gods natural gift purchase liquid honey and flush ur girls the sugars and carbohydrates will do wonders trust me

the day of sadness and greatness ) final lights once your lights have shut off for last time keep your room at 60 degrees and lights off for 72 hrs not 48 but 72 hrs then cut trim hang and enjoy
