Flowering?

I Just started flowering 2 weeks ago and I have been told by 2 people to trim the larger fan leaves off the plants to concentrate growth toward the buds. Now before I do this I was wondering if anyone has tried this or if anyone knows anything about this?????

Dont cut the leaves off, they produce the sugars for the plant to grow. It will just give you a puny plant...trust me!

No don't listen to these people the leafs only grow to a certain point anyway, they do most of the breathing for the plant releasing toxins and what not.

i have seen a few people doing it but i never have and i don't think it would be a good idea. it could only stress the plant and set you back a gram or two.

I forgot to add that the plant will start putting more of its energy into new leaf growth and less into bud formation doing exactly the oposite of what your friends told you.

So its been a little over 2 weeks now with 12/12 and there are still no signs of buds???? Any Comments anybody......How long does it take before buds start forming

It is White Widow If you look at my signature down below I have made a hyperlink to my grow journal...........They were in veg for about 4 weeks before i changed to flowering.....

Ok I have another question for ya guys..........I've heard that the humidity for the buds to form well with sufficient amount of resin it should be around 30% to 40%........................ what is your say on this
