lmao wonder how they knew he was 15 ...odd , and to that comment about thats how myths get started , i was simply offering some help and an opinion , if we didnt tell others what we have heard from someone else we would never get anywhere .

Don't worry, you were sort of right. Plants do not "need" a night cycle, but they develop better roots if they get one. Plants use the day to convert light to stored energry and use the night to pass that energy to their roots. Roots will develop during the day, but they are like us, sleeping time is where most groth occurs.

Not only does it help to give the plants a break by having a night cycle it also saves on the electricity bill. Six less hours of lights on a day add up pretty quick
