Fluorescent tube question

I have an extra fluorescent tube I can use as a light for growing. It is a 30 watt 4150k cool white light. Will plants grow to this light or should I just leave the light out the grow room?

i'm assuming this is a t8 bulb? I mean it'll work... but it's kind of like being fed milk for your entire life. You're going to need more than that if you want strong plants. I say leave it out and get some t5's.

Yes it will work, but it's more towards the bloom spectrum.
