So, everyone has their own opinion and I would appreciate facts. I found the below link today too, but after hours and hours of reading it seems about evenly split still.

I thought it was a good read but I'm a noob. Appreciate any more advice

It’s not evenly split if you consider actual science. Flushing has zero scientific purpose. It is an old hippie technique which has been proven by experienced growers and scientists to have no benefit other then saving nutrients at the end of the plants life. Flushing large amounts of water through the roots can even shock the plant which can delay ripening.

You should probably just search around the forum a bit, this argument has been had at least a dozen times recently.

You'll find most experienced growers here don't flush, but there's still some that will insist on it.

As far as I'm concerned, flushing at the end of a grow accomplishes nothing.

Just grow organically and forget the whole flush process. I do however understand the desire to do so, but as far as I’m concerned, why put something in your plant if you decide to flush it out anyway....
