Just mixed up a batch of nutes...they have been sitting for about a day...my pump went out. I have a white foam in the reservoir. I cleaned the reservior with bleach/h2o mixture, rinsed, and air dried b4 adding RO water and the nutes. Could be ther micro bacteria in the nutes or something else? Dump it to be sure and make another batch? Any help would be great.

List of nutes:

House & Garden A&B
Cal Mag
Silica Blast
Fossil Fuel
Trinity
Drip Clean
Roots Excelerator
PH Up

YIKES!! I have had small bits of white foam show up in my rez after a change that went away after a day or so but nothing like that. WOW! Do you have an air stone in there to keep in oxygenated since your pump is not keeping it agitated? I would dump and remix just to be sure but that is just one of my rookie rules. When in doubt, dump flush and remix.

Wow thats nasty stuff! I use house and garden and never seen it like that!
House & Garden A&B. I used all these products minus the fossil fuel and trinity. I also use mad farmers nutz, B1, and instead of silica blast use protek silica its a much better product. What are your res temps? If theyre over 70 degrees F then your going to get bacteria formation and growth.

Found the problem... Talked with the guys at my hydro store and they all said it was the Trinity. The molasses causes it to react/foam with other micro bacteria in the nutes. Suggested I should just mix a gallon or so and hand water.

Thanks for the help and info!
