For all those people worried about electricity bills

Doing some digging on my electricity here at the home I dont grow in. Just a small doublewide. Our air conditioning system went out last month, or rather, theres all kinds of holes in the ducting, so its not so effective lol (fucking cats tore it during winter). So anyway, the siblings still ran the AC wide open, to get what small relief they could (it got kinda warm). I just laughed it off, until I seen my fucking bill.

Fucking 2500 kwh's. More than ive ever used at the "other" place. Gona have to get under this bitch and replace the duct work with good ol metal ducting (and insulate that shit too).

For those who want to get an idea, you could be running a 6k grow during flowering and your bill would be about the same as that (including the rest of your house, assuming you dont use a ridiculous amount anyway).

No police busting in just yet, still, ill get a kick if they do. Theres nothing illegal here anyway lol.

EDIT: It was around 200 dollars for those are curious.

Sucks about your bill. Pretty funny though...

A lot of places offer a government rebate of up to 30% on your electric bill because of hard economic times and inflated prices. I would suggest you look into it at both locations, might be able to save 1/3 of your bill just for applying. I know they were still accepting applications in Jan.

do that fro 3 more month
and what was you bill $$
this month and last
According to their website, its been over 2k since January. This is the peek though. Really gota fix that duct work lol.

Also, last year it never really went above 1k, so its a large spike for sure (since the cats did their work around that time). Remember, we were using the same duct work for heat at that time of year.

Its been around 200 a month or so since then, which is relatively high for this area.

EDIT: Keep in mind I live in a middle of fuck nowhere town, small ass community, rural kentucky. Police usually dont work as hard around here lol.

For exact numbers, last month it was around 170ish, now its around 195ish (dont wana get too specific, security)

ha. my bill is 350+ and i'm running a 1k total. only a 600hps and the rest is fan/veg/carbon. At peak my power is less than .10 per w. so my setup is 100.00 per month at most. MY 1970's furnace and older energy-deficient home sucks the rest of the 250.00. I used to be paranoid but then i looked at the total power of my space heater and if I run it on high it pulls 1500 watts. HAHAHAHAHA i laughed to myself. When i run my space heater and my furnace in the winter I know that both of these are pulling more than my greenroom.

True, youd have to be pulling a pretty amount for your electricity company to do something imo. Personally (in my area) I wouldnt worry about anything less than 3000 kwh on your electricity bill.

However, some electric companies will come check and make sure their equipment isnt fucking up if your bill is too high.

My bill averages about $250 a month. I run 2400 watts of veg and flower lights plus a shitload of cfls, fans
, A/C and all the other stuff. Plus the rest of the house. Not too bad, and they dont give a crap how much I use as long as the bill is paid on time. I get my juice from a rural electric co-op.

My bill is between 350-400 a month. Running 4 1000's, plus 12" fan, plus portable a/c, plus living here - (2) refers, old as central heat and air system, 85 gal water heater, computers and lights left on in the house all the time (no matter how hard I try to get others to conserve energy). And to top it off there is no gas lines to my community. My bill was app 330-375 - then I applied for the program I mentioned above - added the grow room at about the same time and damn near evened out.

U gotta check out this program if you are a CA resident.... I know you are not kysmoker, they may have a program in Kentucky too, it is a government funded program.

My electric bill is always 200 or more. We don't have natural gas, so everything runs on electricity. I haven't turned on my lights yet, just the T-5. Still just a seedling. I do have a humidifier and fans going. Space heater on really cool nights. I am pretty sure my bill won't be too much more than avereage. Now we aren't running the pool filter and window ACs, so it should even out!
