Let me start by saying I don't believe in ghost. I like to debate people on it as long as it stays civil, so here we go....

How do ghost obtain energy. For a ghost to talk or communicate it must use energy (I think everyone can agree with this). There has to be a way for a ghost to gain energy or else it breaks the first law of thermodynamics.

How do you know a ghost uses energy? Did you ask one?
Umm well for people who use EVP the ghost has to make a wavelength therefore energy. If I ghost doesn't use energy it is pure matter with zero entropy. Damn if you could prove that you would win a Nobel prize

...in the ethers there'd be 7 'forms' of energy. All of which come from the sun. It is continuous, no ether station necessary.
So a form of energy system aquires energy to replenish the system? I'm just not following can you expand? Maybe We should define what a ghost is. To me if a ghost is communicating it would need to be matter and energy. Energy by it's self couldn't just form a system.

...how would you view consciousness then? Is it energy? Light? All this stuff behaves without our saying so, it is the system (to my mind).

Well I would view it through a functional MRI. It's the firing of neurons in the brain, that's all consciousness is. Energy and light follow the laws of physics, non of it is random. But if consciousness were more than in our brains wouldn't it be possible to measure it once we die?

...but we're observing this 'stuff'. We can create models but only because we've recognized them. Recognition and creation are two different things; though oddly the same. (woohoo :) ) So those chemical reactions (imho) are there to be witnessed, so to speak. I could be wrong, but it seems your post presupposes that we make our environment at every moment. If so, that's fckn cool :) Half kidding...
