those prices are ridiculous. $35-40 will buy me an eighth of kush or skunk. dunno about the other strains as i don't have the connects. i plan on growing chemdog, sour diesel and strawberry diesel in the upcoming year

These are probably the prices they pay on Wall Street. You know there has to be a dealer in the bullpen. "Hey man, I just saw you take a 4 million dollar hit on General Motors stock. I've got this Sour Diesel that will make you forget about it in no time."

Wow, i read the accompanying article now, and I think this is great. I have seen many articles and television specials on the economics of marijuana prohibition recently, and I think it is a great thing that awareness is spreading. I know this article is not directly about economics, but it does go into some of the statistics at the end. This article was definitely written with a little bit of anti-prohibition bias. I think that economics is the way to legalization, not things like pushing the agenda of medical marijuana. The tactics that are currently on the forefront of the agenda of the legalization movement are only bringing forth lobbying giants with billions of dollars to burn in the fight for subversion of people like us. Appealing to the good sense of fiscally-minded politicians and consulting economists is the way, as I see it. I am glad to see that Forbes is starting to jump on the bandwagon of reason. I know this all is seemingly tangential, but this is a good read, if you have never looked into it:

Costs of Marijuana Prohibition: Economic Analysis

I hope you enjoy, and spread the word!

mass skunk? never heard of it. I do love the great taste of a nice skunk, but when breeders are looking to add power, they are not looking at skunks. Usually a skunk is added in a breeding program for flavor and increased yield. skunk strains have been around forever, I don't understand it being "exotic".
