force flowering outdoors?

So I have done this before. I took a plant from a spot where it was getting optimum amounts of sunlight to a spot with only like 3 hours direct light. It forced the plant to flower a month ahead of schedule.

But I was wondering, Does letting a plant bud in a good spot when its supposed to give better bud than when you force it to bud in a spot with less direct light?

Bud will be the same quality, you will just get less with less sun.

There might be a slight difference, nothing too big I'd say.
