when i started growing outdoors, i didnt realize that i have to wait to fall before it starts to flower. Any one have any ideas on how to force flowering and control light and dark cycle?

get a big trash can and poke holes around bottom so oxygen can get in then put something around the holes so light doesnt get in like a screen or something or cardboard

Um yes...you bring them to a dark room EVERY DAY(its a pain in the ass). Or you can cover them with some sort of sun-proof dome whenever it has been 12 hrs. in the sun. Again a pain in the ass.

I've never seen a trash can that would fit over an outdoor plant....screen??cardboard..... it needs to be light proof so you don't wind up with a hermie. The only way I've seen it done is with a miniature greenhouse with a black tarp thing pulled over it every day.

im building a flower box that butts right up against my central heat and air so i have ventilation flowing threw the box although it is kind of a pain in the ass ive been thinking of just moving my operation indoors

I use a black trashbag over caged buckets.but I just found some black ground cloth on the property, that'll work better (ventilation).my avatar is undergoing this now, and has 1 month left before 1st. harvest.
