I have always loved RIU. That said, I think it's obvious that we need to change a few things
The biggest problem i have is that SO MANY PEOPLE TELL NOOBS TO LOOK AND SEE IF THEIR PROBLEM HAS ALREADY BEEN SOLVED ELSEWHERE> AND THEY NEVER DO
why do you think that is?
well, for one, it's easier to use google to find a thread on RIU than it is to use RIU itself, and it's fucked up. I'm quite tired of seeing so many of the same posts. I can only assume you really believe that if the site is hard enough to navigate you'll continue to have more threads, making the site look very healthy. Well, it works, because everything on here is posted at least twice. it's great to find multiple opinions on a matter, but can't that all happen within one thread??? I'm sorry to sound belligerent, but I'm TIRED of DEALING with the disorganized state of this site. If RIU would hire more people to organize, I know that I, for one, would donate every month. So in summary
THE SEARCH ENGINES ON THIS SITE DON"T WORK AT ALL
they need to be fixed, cause i can't even find out how to clone a fucking plant without googling it, which redirects me here. SO WHY DIDN'T RIU JUST TELL ME WHERE TO FIND THAT INFO IF IT IN FACT IS HERE!?????!??!!!!!?!?!!!!!?!?!
*sigh* i'm sorry, i really am, but it's just sooooo frustrating, and then older users will tell nooBs they are wrong, but they arent. THEY"RE CONFUSED!!!
