Why not have localized forums for cities or countries where people can chat about local issues,or can get to know each other to hook up at some point. People could also post about the best places to buy supplies,or they could look for others to split a large order of supplies to get a bulk price. These are just a few examples and im sure you could think of other ways this could work.

I think there are many people who wouldnt worry about saying what city they live in. Its not like they would have to give out their address or anything. Its not a sophisticated idea whatsoever. Just start a forum called NY forum, LA forum,Toronto forum etc ,and whoever lives in the area could join in or just read to get the info they want about supplies or whatever else.

If you look in your CP (My Rollitup), you will see a 'social groups' link. There are social groups for most countries and other particular interests. Maybe that will suit your needs. The social groups are basically the same as the forums, with extra features.

well I checked out the Canadian group and couldnt really make a lot of sense out of it. It certainly isnt like a regular forum thats for sure. I also searched for Toronto,New York and Los Angeles and didnt get one hit for any of them,so this is far from what I had in mind.
If people were to use a non traceable email address like yahoo,then only use internet cafes ,there would be no way the cops could find people . Just think of all the advantages there would be to communicating directly with people in your town . I have already mentioned a few,and Im sure as growers you could think of a few more.

Its not always the cops you have to worry about. sometimes its the c.i. or narc or whatever they call themselves... that what you gotta watch out for.
But i do like the region idea...

Im not sure what you mean here since I thought narcs are cops,and what is C.i.? do you mean cia ? Anyhow none of these authorities are allowed to smoke weed with someone they are investigating . You could also ask to meet them at a bar because from what I understand they arent supposed to drink on the job either. After a couple drinks/tokes they would be more likely to slip up if they are police. There are some people you can tell right away arent authorites,and I think that would include the majority of members here,but others you may have to take some steps with to make sure they arent.
Also the precautions I mentioned above with the yahoo email address to register here ,and internet cafes to post here are things everyone here may want to consider just to be 100% safe.

I just noticed this site has forums for each state and country http://www.potspace.com/forum/ However this site is very mickey mouse as you can see by the number of threads in each category,and views/replies per thread. On RIU though,I am sure regional sub forums would be very popular,simply due to the much larger membership.
Bringing growers/smokers closer together is what this idea is all about,and how can anyone deny this is the best way to overgrow the government? To look the other way is simply avoiding the truth in this matter,and in effect you are giving the system the upper hand. Sure there may be risks ,but anything that is worthwhile carries some risks. Its all about minimizing the risks as well as learning from our mistakes and other members mistakes . At least here we have the ability with the forums and messaging to talk about and deal with problems as they may arise.
