Found a cheap & easy way to drain the water!!

Go to your local Lowes and look for a drill pump...it costs about $5.00-$6.00
As you can see in the pictures, I used an old washer hookup hose for the inlet from the tote to the pump and hooked the pump to a garden hose. Hook up the drill and my 10 gal tote was drained in less than 2 minutes.

The only key is to prime it by submerging the inlet hose under water then lifting it up to let the water run into the pump. Then let 'er rip!

Thought I would share - its the easiest, cheapest way to drain I have foundIMG_2063.JPG IMG_2064.JPG

I bought one years ago and used it once. Way too slow and it ties you down to it. Just use a cheap pump with a pick up tube. I can empty all but around 2qt in just a few mins from a 50gal res.

Takes 4 minutes to drain but yes perhaps a pump is better just sayin lol. Not sure what you mean by tie it down though but again pumps a great ideal as well.

Oh got ya, my tubs all drain directly to floor drain which is attached to weeping tile under lawn but again the pump would work well also :).
