Found a little white fuzz on hash. Now what to do?

Put it in a ziplock bag and left it for a few days. Took it out to find a small amount of white fuzz on most pieces. I scraped it off and it hasn't come back at all.
Is it necessarily mold? Wouldn't it come back in some form? If it's not worth the risk to smoke it, what would you do with it?

I'm mostly wondering if it's worth going through the trouble considering that there is no longer any visible problems. Of course, I realize it's never a good idea to inhale mold/spores.

Personally, I wouldn't care if it wasn't much and think I got most of it, I'd just smoke it. If you have any breathing problems I would say don't risk it though.
The hash or the white fuzz?
The hash is pressed. The white fuzz was a very thin layer. Definitely not gooey. Maybe it was somewhat powder like.
You can try to break it all up, let it air dry for a day, repress and add little more heat when you do and see what happens.

Mold and mildew are environmental irritants that can multiply and spread throughout the body when inhaled through the eyes, nose or mouth. Mold and mildew pose health risks to people with pre-existing lung conditions, hypersensitivity disorders and to those with compromised immune systems, such as elderly individuals and infants.

The choice is yours. Reality is, if you smoked bud you bought an didn't grow chances are you've already smoked some PM.

Carolina's spot on and if the wotever it was is gone then I reckon u should b ok .......toke on and let us no how the smoke was...
I don't doubt what i've been told so far here, but i would like to try and get rid of it, whatever it is, before I go ahead an toke on it. Even though there's nothing visible to the eye, I'm assuming that there still could be something there.
I've seen the Jorge Cervantes method of bathing harvested bud in a H2O2 solution to remove powdery mildew. Is there any reason why this wouldn't work for pressed hash as well?

I would toss it if there isn't too much, but if you have alot, that's gonna hurt.

Had the same thing happen and I Lost an 1/8 of an ounce of fresh hash.
Using water to extract is great but Any moisture left will turn moldy.
Next time I will use a warm pan to dry my hash.
I threw mine out, I like my lungs to much to smoke mold on purpose.
Even repressing the microscopic mold will still be in the mix, NG.
Bless,
DZ
