Found a local NorCal soil place, but will their soil work for our plants?

Found this soil place in my area. Been in business for 25 years. They sell all kinds of compost, rocks, mulch, potting soil etc.

Would you guys grow with this stuff? Any NorCal guys used their stuff?

This is their "organic nursery mix potting soil"

organic horse compost, 1/8- red lava sand, 5/16- crushed red lava rock, 1/4-fir bark, Oyster shell flour, Blood meal, Bone meal, Kelp meal, Azomite® and Soil Sulfur.

I can get that for $42 a yard. Seems like it could be cheaper than using stuff from the grow shop, and easier than mixing a bunch of stuff from home depot.

They also sell a bunch of different compost's, here are a couple examples.

1)compost made with a blend of green waste and grape pomace fertilized with oyster shell flour, bone meal, blood meal, kelp meal, Dolomite 10, greensand, soil sulfur and Azomite. Good for landscaping and vegetable gardening.

2)organic compost made from McCoy’s chicken manure, horse compost, grape pomace, rice hulls and ground green waste fertilized with azomite, greensand, oyster shell flour and soil sulphur.

Seems decent to me, but I'm a n00b.

From what little I know it seems like that organic nursery mix would work great if I amended it with a bunch of perlite, but maybe that's why they added the lava rock? would it still need lime? or does the oyster flour and bone meal do the same thing?.

Thanks!

All 3 sound pretty good, should ask them to blend all of them 2gether for you. The more, the merrier when it comes to organic ingredients imo.
