Found a plant can I replant??

Walking home from work I get a very sweet smell off some grass, anywho found this foot and a half plant that was dieing and I wanna try to replant it

Possible? How? Advice?

Dig it up keeping the roots as intact as possible. Surround rootball with good potting soil - water and feed. Good luck.

Ya, critical that you get the rootball relatively intact. Taproot can get pretty deep outdoors, so you'll just have to poke around.
