I have been growing for a couple of years now on a very small basis. The first few grows were done entirely with CFL's. Although the consensus is that these are very weak, I found that about 5 of those 23-27 watters on 2 plants gave an OK amount. I wasn't going all serious commercial big time make a fortune on the world. This just made a small personal stash.
Well, I upgraded to a 400W HPS and for the first time I will have taken a grow all the way strictly using the HPS. I started 4 plants from seed- I got the seeds from a medical marijuana user in exchange for some of the previously mentioned CFL grown weed. The Blueberry I grew from the seeds he provided turned out to be just that, so I have some confidence that they are correctly labeled. 3/4 are of the variety called FLO. After some research I found that they are quite similar to blueberry- having come from a sativa type called purple thai and an afghan indica. The proportion is said to be 60/40 sativa/indica. Now that they are at day 24 of 12/12 and about 42 inches tall- I don't really see any resemblance to BB- But it has been So Damn Hot that I have trouble keeping the temps below 90F on some days.
The forth plant is a Northern Light, which I have grown before.
I hadn't mentioned this before but all 4 turned out to be girls! This is the first time I have done that. I have struck out before, getting 0/3. The gods must be smiling on me, which is strange, since I am an agnostic at best. I can smell the aroma of the plants from here which as you all know is quite enchanting all by itself!
Here are a few shots taken just today. F*ck the Corporate World Biatch!
