I just went out and purchased these products for my 1 month old babies. I recently have been seeing signs of nitrogen deficiency, so today was my first feeding with the both. When will i start seeing signs of improvement? And also, do you think these are ready to be transplanted outside? Im in the southern part of Michigan. Some of these are starting to show sex, along with one starting to bud! I am assuming this is because of the lack of light, so im trying to get them outside asap! I have 2 65 watt (300 equiv) on 12 plants, that are about 8 inches tall.

i hear fox farms isnt really organic, its chem. anyone else hear this? im an earth juice kinda guys

Fox Farm states openly under their FAQs that some of their products have chemicals; liquid nutes were included in that grouping.

About the Nitrogen deficiency: The internal improvement occurs almost immediately; the visual impact clears up in about a week providing it's not too far gone. Use fish emulsion to solve the N problem if organics is a concern. Here's a quick recipe:

Step 1Add fresh fish parts or undesirable fish to a bucket.
Step 2Fill the bucket with cold water enough to cover the fish.
Step 3Stir thoroughly, and allow to set for a few days; at least 24hrs. Stir often to keep the mixture active.
Step 4Strain through a cheesecloth or strainer, and use the solution to water

You can put them outside but watch out for temps in the 50s at night. Give a few days for the plant to recover from the deficiency and stabalize first.

Fox farm does have organic products as well as non-organic. Its my first grow so im gonna try non organic first. Should i still be using the superthrive and veggy nutes even though the plants are starting to show their sex? Oh and out of 12 seeds that germinated, all 12 are female:) not bad since all the sour diesel seeds were free.
