fox farm grow big

I just picked up a bottle of Fox Farm's grow big and plan on using it in about 2-3 weeks. My plants is only one week and one day old today and are like 4 inches, very healthy looking. Is this a good time to add grow big if they are already planted in 70% ocean forest and 30% light warrior. I know that many people hurt their plants with too many nutes and considering that my medium already contains some, I did not want to add any to early.

personally i would wait on nutes for 3 weeks at least if you are using foxfarm ocean mix. that soil contains a lot of organic nutes, and I have heard it is really hard on the little ones sometimes by itself. i would wait until you transplant into larger pots for the remainder of your grow, but thats my opinion.. :) ... Happy growing..:leaf::bigjoint:

I was using 100% Happy Frog Soil and watering on the low end of the scale with the BioCanna line and burned the shit out of my plants. I would say if you are using over a half and half ratio of soil to soiless or amendments like perlite, Then give the plants a little while to take out the nutrients by just giving them water.

After the last few months of tinkering with it, I use a 1:1 ratio of Happy Frog to Pro-Mix. Basically in a 10 gallon bucket, I am doing 5 gallons of Happy Frog and 5 gallons of Pro-Mix Orange. My plants accept the nutrients while feeding very well, they grow vigorously, and haven't burned. I have been upping the dosage on my feedings also and am starting to get into the heavier side and the plants love every minute of it. I am very happy with this current set up.

I also use the whole Fox Farms line including the powders on another set of plants. I would recommend at least using the Big Bloom and Grow big like it suggests, and then use Big Bloom and Tiger Bloom in the flower. We have had great results with it. If you are using Pro-Mix then the plants take the nutrients perfectly and remain happy all the way through the cycle. I must say that the Fox Farms line is very straight forward and easy to use. If you are using a Soil like OF with the nutes, then you will have to tinker some.

when running the grow big you should run big bloom along with it, big bloom is the base for most all of the FF nutes. i use FFOF and perlite at a 1to1 ratio .. the FFOF is pretty hot for seedling's and clones if it's ran straight, it'll burn the shit outta 'em. don't add any nutes for atleast 3 more weeks, let the plants tell ya when they want more nutes. i only use the FF trio along with open seasme and cha-ching and get great results, but be careful to start your nutes at half strength or a lil less so ya don't burn ur girlz!
