I just got some FF Tiger Bloom and Big Bloom for my garden. Can anyone help me with how often to use them? I am in the Philly area and this is my first grow. And do I just water into the soil or do I water from the top of the plants down to the soil?
Thanks

I read a few other posts on the site and pretty much got my answers. Most just follow the feeding schedule i guess?

Yeah 1tbl Big Bloom and 2 tsp Tiger Bloom per gallon once per week. Make sure not to mix the concentrates together, add them to your water one at a time. You may also need to raise the ph because both big bloom and tiger bloom are acidic, it drops my well water from 8 down to 6.5

I use tiger bloom by itself 2 tsp per gallon and I do it twice a week and my plants eat it up like nothing.

yeah i ahve been using big bloom/ tiger bloom combo and noticed a HUGE difference in growth rate when i started feeding.. growth increased from about 1/4 inch every couple days under cfls to almost a 1/2 per day under cfls... so it really makes a huge difference. i am about to up the amounts feeding after next to about half strength to see if i get any burn.... my soil-Fox Farm Ocean Forest- was pretty fresh already when i transplanted into new pots. then immediately after i ebgan my nute schedule with the bb and tb in the already fresh soil, i thought all those nutes would cause burn but i barely got any. i really highly reccommend using ffof with big bloom and tiger bloom combo... seems to be the best thing i have found yet. you gotta make sure that you keep your ph in the right balance though because the tiger bloom will lower ph quite a bit. my water runs about 8.1 ph so i try to add nutes until the ph is around what it needs to be and hope that i dont burn my plants. so far this has worked perfectly. ph up would also work very very well to solve his problem.

sorry for the huge mass of type

I use there chart. Check your ph though with FF. I use Lemon juice for ph down and baking soda for ph up. I adjust to 6.5 to 6.8 then water.

you're kidding? To maximize your yield, you need to follow Fox Farm's fed plan to the "T". Using it once a week won't cut it either! They, Fox Farms suggest you use their product every other feeding. Why are you using it only once a week, if it's an economical issue I'll understand. Are you using any of FF other products(open sesame, etc.,etc.) during flowering? They will really increase your yield using them.

I follow the chart to a T. My plants get water every 3 days. And feed other other watering. so they get feed once a week.

My potted plants need water everyday so they get feed 3 to 4 times a week. Then on cold days they may go 3 to 4 days before they use up and need more water.

If his plants only need water like mine then it is normal to feed once a week. Unless you like to overwater your plants that is.

This plant here was feed once a week most of her life. Could of it been more? Maybe, but I follow the chart to a "t". :)

What I meant to write was up until the flushing. Not using them to flush. So I assume I can use the products until I am ready to flush right?

I like to feed a bit heavy... with multiple pots, and with watering almost every day... I think the big bloom is kind of a rip off. I ran out of my first bottle really fast.
:-?
@ 0.01-0.3-0.7, its really weak and you have to use so damn much of it. Why couldnt they make it .1-3-7? Tiger Bloom is 2-8-4, and I love it. Still using the Tiger Bloom, its still 1/3 full, should make it to harvest.

I water every 3 or 4 days, so I am following the chart. I guess I wasn't considering that he could have a different watering schedule. I do also use the solubles and I've noticed that my buds are filling out much faster and fuller than usual. I picked a little sampler that was only 4-5 weeks into flowering and it was way more potent and dense than I was expecting.
