Foxtailing: genetic trait or rebound after nute shock?

Hey guys. I've got a Gg#4/fat monkey auto (gg#4 clone, OG Kush and ruderalis here. It was popped from seed on Feb 28. Went into flower stretch around March 25, so around week 6/7 of flower right now. I'm not phased, as in I don't think it's a problem, but the plant has started foxtailing, not just from the tops, but the sides of the buds and I'd be interested to see opinions on whether it's generic traits or foxtailing rebound after nute burn.

It was recently nute shocked and the medium went to 5.2, suffered some lockout and stalled for a week or so. The pistils were around 30% brown at that stage. Over the last two days it has popped a lot of new calyx stacks. Like a lot... Are these foxtails just new growth after stunting, or is it a genetic trait of GG/OG strains?

Starting week seven of flower, I'm used to autos being past the vertical growth/stacking of calyx and into the ripening stage, so overall I'm kinda happy they popped new growth.

I've had em when they got to close to the lights
Was my first thought but it's only under a ts600 (85w) and 4xe27 warm white bulbs (23w each). Tests at 174w from the wall. The TS is 14" away from the highest colas.

Using the apogee from the local hydro store I got 743umol in the hotspot and around 500umol at the edges, all at 14". I think I'm right at 30ish watts per sq metre.

Cheers. Considering it's perso I'm not phased if it's foxtailing. Apparently it's common after nute shock as well so I've probs got a double whammy. It's crazy how quick the new growth come on. Like overnight. I didn't even realise it how stunted it was from bad pH until it started to grow again. .

I'll have to look into GG more. Would be interesting to know it's lineage.
