Hey, first post and first harvest i am thinking i harvested a bit early. It was a small plant for personal use. No need for a monster. ;p

let me know if you think I've harvested premature please. :) this was from a bag seed, it smells amazing as for drying and curing I'm just using a paper bag to dry and when they feel "right" to my novice senses then i will attempt to cure them in a mason jar.

ps. I know im not an artist at removing those fan leaves. ><

Bah! Thanks a bunch there is always next year ;p oh well. I have smoked a small one off of it and did get pretty high and that was right off the plant before drying and curing so we will see. >< i was 90% sure it was to early but i got to impatient haha. What would they have looked like in a month you think compared to this so i know better in the future. The trichomes looked pretty cloudy under a magnified glass though it was truly hard to tell with just a magnified glass and 80% of the pistols where orange and curly not straight.

as long as the sample u smoked is good enough for your taste then you're ok. try to get a loupe or pocket scope for your next grow. enjoy the smoke.

Haha yea i figured as much! Its all 100% free so i cant complain about seedless buds that get me high. XD thanks for the tip on the loupe and pocket scope ill look into it.

Yeah, it looks a little fluffy and could have gone at least another week or two but what the hell. As long as you're happy with it and you learned something then it was a successful grow. I cut some low hanging fruit off two Orange Buds I have going right now and thoroughly enjoyed the high. I'm seriously considering chopping early even though I will give up yield just because me and my girlfriend enjoyed it so much.

Good to know, through research i know its more of a head high if you harvest early which is what i want. I just didn't think it was a month early like the first poster claimed. I agree with you on being at least a week early where it was it only got about 5 hours of direct sunlight so it grew really slow but helped me keep the size down! I didn't do anymore than water it in a planting pot. I think the buds are quite pretty and the smell is pretty intoxicating so i couldn't resist any longer. >< i noticed my plant was a bit lanky lot of bare stem showing i have topped it frequently to solve that i only topped it once. is my trim job sufficient as well? sorry for all the noob questions.

for all you know if you waited the extra month you could've lost it to mold or something, this year i had a plant getting small spots of rot, so i harvested all the big buds (probably a month or so too soon...) and left the bottom to mature for a while longer. Good job bro!
