So im doing my first grow and I just had a couple of questions. Firstly, i am planning to transfer her to a bigger pot tomorrow. Currently its growing in coco and i received the plant from a friend. I dont have any coco at my disposable so im wondering if its safe to transfer her into a larger pot filled with soil? I also want to add perlite(?) to the soil but after a trip to Homebase i couldnt find any, and i have no idea where to go to get the stuff apart from there....
Secondly, Ive been told my epic foil lining of the wardrobe is actually not helping. I tried to find some Mylar to replace this, but the closest i could find was reflective radiator foil? Its sort of a matte foil on one side and foam insulated on the other, is this ok?
My final question relates to the stem! As I said I bought the plant from a friend and it has definitely been "stretching," for the light whilst in his care, resulting in quite a weak stem. I have opted for the LST method and am currently employing it, and although the plant is supporting itself fine, it just seems a bit flimsy and thin considering the size of the plant.
