from the heat...?

Bonjourno!
my babies are 1 week from sprout and on most of them the leaves are creasing upwards im thinking its cos there a wee bit too close to the light ?

id say a good 18-20 inches from the bulb so not that close tbh.
its a 250w hps no cool tube or anything but maybe with the heat that comes off hps that could be a bit too close for 1 week old saplings ?

Set your babies off to the side of light so it is not so intense on then. Have a small fan blow some air there way.

if you can put your hand close to the tube there should be no problem with them being too close. Remember, light degrades by half every 12 inches. Do you know the pH of your soil/solution?

i just think they are too young to be so close... I kept my 250 about a 1.5 away when they were mature...

i used a 600 watt hps from seed to flower, the bulb was 18 inches away from the seedlings and it was just fine , but the room hit the 90s somtimes and my leafs started to curl just like that, but yes its a heat issue

humidity in high temps helps, air flow i use cheap fan that turn back an forth and blows through plants and around them helps plants take in co2 as well,put bowl of water in room close to plants helps humidity
