anyone know bout how many light frosts a hardy 3-4 foot tall plant can take? Just Wondering if you plant hasnt quite matured yet and the frosts are starting is it better to harvest before any frosts even though ur plant's not fully matures or wait a couple days and let ur plant battle some frost while it matures...

I hope I wont have this problem come october but I might :?

i'd rather let them keep going through the frost m8, some strains are pretty frost resistant, and should put up well against the colder temps.. keep an eye on them though..
what strain are you growing and what is your lattitude??

A mature plant should have no problem with a few light frosts, I would let it finish out. If anything the frost will give you some purpling and maybe frostier buds. I have seen plants tough out a few 35-40 degree (Fahrenheit) nights with no problems.

Insulate will help protect cold from 7 to 10 degrees and a very active microbial life in your soil will also raise the temp from 7 to 10 degrees. Compost Tea, molasses, seaweed, Thrive, etc. I haven't tried it yet, but I would also get some "green/hot' manure, and spread around the base of the Lady. This should help alot.

Also, always do a heavy mulching, about 4 inches, and water well prior to cold nights.
