cool info on the grape stomper. i've been considering it along with da purps and especially grape krush.
as to fruity, i REALLY like sweet haze by DNA, extra sweet & fruity and decently trippy too unlike watered down generic hazes. it's a nice 9 week strain.
i got a grape flavor out of super cali haze under a halide along with traces of it in joey weed C99 too, but only got a generic fruity flavor out of the cross under my sodium
if you want the best fruity flavors, get at least one metal halide bulb. the cheap generic blue white light halide i bought with my 1st 400w system did bring out some phenos, particularly in LSD that i'd been accused of lying about until reading up from a few sources about the benefits of halide, particularly for sativas. if anyone wants to argue the point, take it up with DJ shorts.
i'm going to ditch my sodium bulb and do an 800w halide grow. i don't care about yield at all. i REALLY want to see what sweet haze tastes like under full spectrum and whether or not my own fruity booty (SCH x C99) cross actually does still have grape phenos. merging the flavor with purple in a doable haze is my personal challenge, but i already love a few strains for different reasons as they are.
not a fruity flavor, but mid stony, as in skunk #1 & blueberry etc., sour cream tastes more delicious even under sodium than it sounds. i think it's more like a sweet cream cheese with hints of fruit the same way you can just taste the strawberry in strawberry cream cheese, but much milder and less specific.
chocolope and chocolate rain sound yummy.
if it weren't for the skunky part, i'd really like TGA's agent orange. that crossed with lemony malawi would be interesting. maybe some day.
pineapple express and chunk are interesting sounding
reclining buddha is a sweet cherry strain while it's buddha's sister is pure indica and tart cherry. i'd expect that to have the purest flavor. there's also BS x G13 haze
speaking of hazes, blackberry liquor & purple 17-24 week old timer's haze sounds like a really good parent strain to make fruity hazes the right way from scratch without recycling neville some more.
I have some Durban Posion that smelled like turpentine while growing but after cure it's like, em, old coke cola fountain syrup and tastes kinda like a cherry flavored nitrous oxide.
huh. the durban poison i tried back around 1995 tasted like straight up licorice. you know, i wonder just how authentic THAT flavor was. the kali mist i was gifted tasted like straight up crushed red pepper. didthe grower dose his soils with pepper and star anise for the flavors. i despise blood meal in the soil, even a tiny bit.
maybe i'll grow a clone of something in soil with cinnamon in it just to see what happens. i sure don't recall tasting any cinnamon in auto jack which was supposedly bred from the "cinnamon girl" pheno. kinda makes me wonder if someone dosed my own soils now that i think about it considering some of the offensive flavors i've gotten out of the best strains
