So what it comes down to is, do you think it's wrong for people to put something in front of millions of people that could be detrimental to their well being, lets be honest, what benefit does a person watching Jersey Shore get? Do they get any smarter, or is it completely for entertainment purposes? If it's strictly entertainment, what I'm wondering is where are the tv shows with fights to the death, or naked chicks mud wrestling? That would be a hell of a lot more entertaining than watching a group of people party during their youth, right?
This crap is on tv because millions of people watch it. My exgirlfriend watches it every week, she says she tunes in because it's ridiculous how people could act like that. I've watched it a few times with her, and I completely agree, I myself have fallen into the trap.
Then you see IDIOT ASS politicians making fools of themselves by wanting R rated movies, and explicit video games and music toned down.
It's shit like that that needs to be fuckin' regulated in my opinion..

I can't watch what I consider to be bad TV or Movies.....It is physically painful for me LOL. Tell you what though folks we have been without cable or satelite for several years now and it is very liberating.......weekly library trips, actually finishing books in a week......My youngest sons marks went up along with his fitness levels......I say call your prividor and tell them to shove their crap back where it belongs with the rest of the stinky cheesy TV shows and get out there and enjoy life without the TV

Ahmen!! Thank GOD someone else besides just me.. thinks the same of the Jersey Shore crew. Sure they're Italian.. I'm Italian too (Sicilian) and IMO.. those idiots on that show make my nationality look like absolute shit... because of the way they act on television.
