fucked up light schedule

Does 10-30 mins really make a different? like if I forgot to turn my plants lights on 10-30 mins late a few times... while in flowering..

does that really make a HUGE difference? Couild that lil ammount of time make a plant go hermie?

the Plants are alittle tolerable to light shedule problems and wont herm till the 2 or 3rd fuck up, depending on strain. but in your case you were only extending the nightcycle slightly which will only really cause then to try to finish faster, tho I wouldn't recommend doin it on a regular basis. I actually lower my light schedule in half hour increments down to 10 or 11 day hours near the end to tell my buds its time to finish up.

I would recommend getting a timer cause relying on a human for this is just askin for disaster.. hope this helps

With a 400W MH/HPS system, a timer shouldn't blow out right? Do they have limits or anything?

generally any timer will work for a 400w on any timer all you need is 5 amps and most are 10 or 15 so your good. I run my 1000w on a HD timer i got from home depot for 24 bucks and no problems.

Thanks man, I just decided to see if I could find it on the Home Depot website & did. 15 amps & 1750 watt load.

I have a timer.... its on it its just sometimes im watching TV at night and my room right now has only 1 electrical outlet that works.. until another week or 2 until they come fix it. So my tv/cable is pluged into the same jack as the timer for my plants so i end up just turning off the lights/fan off by hand so i can keep watching tv.

hahahaha thats interesting i would never trust myself to replug in that shit ha, ever thought of a splitter or powerstrip, they aint that much.
