FUNGUS gnats (how to destroy)

Alright so I had a rediculous fungus gnat infestation in my room and I do a variation of DWC/ebb-n-flow systems... I commited genocide on those bastards and only see like maybe one or two flying around every other day (only been a couple weeks)

So After they popped up and began multiplying, there were litterally thousands in my garden (decent sized room)... I was about 4-5 weeks into flower, and the plants were pretty immobile, so bombing the room, which I really wanted to do, was out of the question.. So I used a combo of yellow sticky-strips and mosquito dunks, just wanted to get on here and testify that the method works WONDERS

I hung about 6 or so strips all amongst the plants to catch the adults flying around on the medium... Then I dissolved mosquito dunks at a rate of one whole dunk per 5gal bucket of water.. left them overnight.. when they were completely dissolved there was still a bunch of residual flakes floating around (that seemed to prove to be a useful thing)...

next day I top fed each basket with a liter or so of the 'dunk water' making sure that some of the little flakes floating around tagged along to end up in and on top of the medium... I then repeated this entire watering process a week later

Throughout this entire process, I used a light mix of thrive alive to wet the baskets in an attempt to help the roots counteract any harm that the larvae may have done...

Within a few days the population was DECIMATED.. and within the two weeks there was little sign at all of the little buggers... Hope this helped some people..
